The St. John's Rowing Club is currently updating its webpage. The current page will not be updated until the new page is rolled out. This information below is a high level of the programs offered throughout the year. As staff and coaches are put into place, more information will be available. In addition, an open house for both the recreational program and the youth program are offered to allow for both registration into a program and as an information session.

Recreational rowing

Recreational rowing for adults 18+ from beginner to intermediate level rowers. Three 1.5 hr sessions per week (schedule to be determined by end of April) Begins week of May 30 and runs until mid-October (two weekly sessions in fall due to limited daylight)

Cost: $225

Open House: May 28, 2011 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Program Schedule

Youth Learn to Row

LTR programs for beginner and intermediate athletes aged 12 - 16

Offered in four 2-week sessions with five 1.5 hr sessions offered per week (hourly schedule to be determined end of April)

Cost: $150 for the first two week session, $75 for an additional two week session, third and fourth week sessions no additional charge (maximum charge $225)

Begins week of June 27

Open House: June 18, 2011 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Program Schedule

High School Rowing

Various high schools in the St. John's and surrounding area.

Various memberships including spring (May - June) summer (July - August) and fall (September - October) for $100 each or $225 for all three. Generally three 1.5 hr sessions per week, but can be as many as five in the summer and two in the fall (due to limited day light).
